1. Who We Are

Romanly is a dating introduction service that delivers one curated match per day and, if both people opt in, shares contact details so you can connect off-platform.

2. Eligibility

You may use Romanly only if you:

• Are 18 years or older;
• Can form a legally binding contract where you live; and
• Are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

We may refuse access or suspend accounts at our discretion to protect users and the Service.

3. Account and Information You Provide

To use Romanly, you may be asked to provide information such as:

• Email address
• A LinkedIn profile URL (or other professional profile link, if supported)
• Optional details you choose to share (e.g., gender, one photo)

You agree that information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it updated where relevant.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login links, codes, or credentials associated with your account.

4. How Romanly Works (Matching + Timing)

Romanly is designed to be simple:

• One match per day may be delivered at a designated time (currently 9:09 PM local time for the user, where supported).
• Each match is shown with limited context (e.g., one photo, high-level professional background, and education).
• You may have until a stated deadline (e.g., 11:59 PM) to respond Yes or No.
• If both people say Yes, we may share contact information so you can connect outside Romanly.

No Guarantee

We do not guarantee:

• You will receive a match every day;
• Any match will respond or consent;
• Any connection, conversation, or relationship outcome.

Romanly is an introduction tool, not a promise of results.

5. What We Show — and What We Don't

Romanly aims to protect privacy through "limited context" introductions.

We generally do not show: full names, direct profile links, exact workplace identifiers, personal contact details, or precise location beyond city-level unless and until both people opt in and the Service is designed to share a specific item.

You understand that:

• Any information you share after mutual opt-in is shared at your discretion and risk.
• Once information is shared with another user, Romanly cannot fully control what that user does with it.

6. User Conduct (What You Can't Do)

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, defame, or abuse others;
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent identity, age, or intent;
• Collect, scrape, or harvest user information, including via bots or automated tools;
• Share someone else's personal data without permission;
• Use Romanly for spam, solicitation, escorting/sex work promotion, scams, or illegal activity;
• Post or transmit malware or attempt to disrupt the Service;
• Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law.

We may investigate and take action (including suspension/termination) for violations.

7. Safety and No Background Checks

Romanly does not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification as a default feature. We do not guarantee the identity, intent, or behavior of users.

You are solely responsible for your interactions and for using good judgment, including when meeting in person. We strongly recommend meeting in public places and following basic safety practices.

8. Content and Rights

Your Content

If you upload content (such as a photo), you:

• Confirm you have the right to share it; and
• Grant Romanly a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only for operating and improving the Service.

You can request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention needs.

Romanly's Content

The Service, including branding, design, and software, is owned by Romanly or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or use it except as allowed by these Terms.

9. Beta Services

Romanly may be offered as a beta or early-access product. Beta features may be incomplete, change without notice, or experience downtime.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, beta services are provided "as is" and "as available."

10. Payments (If/When Offered)

Romanly may offer paid subscriptions or features in the future. If we do:

• We will disclose pricing and billing terms at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled (where applicable).
• Refunds, if any, will be governed by the purchase terms and applicable law.

If the Service is currently free, that does not guarantee it will remain free.

11. Termination

You may stop using Romanly at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms;
• Your behavior creates risk or legal exposure for Romanly or other users; or
• We reasonably believe termination is necessary to protect the community or Service.

Upon termination, these Terms sections that should logically survive will survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity).

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Romanly provides an introduction platform and does not guarantee compatibility, outcomes, or user behavior.
• Romanly is not responsible for interactions that occur outside the Service (calls, texts, dates, etc.).
• Romanly does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that content will be accurate or complete.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Romanly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Romanly's total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

• $100 USD, or
• the amount you paid Romanly (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Romanly and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the Service;
• Your content; or
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g., via email).

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict of laws rules.
